Mr. Irvin Carney

Irvin Carney, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, has carved a remarkable path in the data engineering and analytics industry, boasting over 15 years of experience. After earning his B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama in 2011, Irvin embarked on his career at dunnhumbyUSA as a data analyst.

In 2015, as Kroger transitioned its joint venture into 84.51˚, Irvin emerged as one of its founding employees. Promoted to Data Engineering Director in 2020, Irvin expanded his scope to include supply chain and AI-assisted consumer research, overseeing a team of over 20. By 2025, he transitioned to Kroger Precision Marketing, leading engineering strategies for advertising and media measurement.

Beyond his professional achievements, Irvin is deeply engaged in community service. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., serving in various leadership roles in the Delta Theta Sigma Chapter in Cincinnati, OH. and is active in the 1st Masonic District of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio
