Dr. Regina Whitfield Kekessi
Healthcare Professional of the Year
Dr. Regina Whitfield Kekessi, MD, MPH, FACOG, MSCP was inspired to pursue medicine after her father's sudden passing when she was 12 years old. This life changing event sparked her curiosity and passion for improving lives. During a summer pre-med program, she was assigned to an Obstetrician/Gynecologist and found her passion for women’s health. As she advanced through her educational journey, she had a “eureka moment” - To keep the family matriarch healthy is to keep the family healthy. Recognizing this reality for many families solidified her decision to pursue Obstetrics & Gynecology as a career. She believes further that impacting peoples’ lives positively is, indeed, a calling.
