Mr. Dante Jones II

Rising Star of the Year

Dante Jones II is a project manager whose work reflects the technical range, accountability, and community-minded leadership of a rising STEM professional. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Technology from Indiana State University and holds an OSHA 30-hour certification, along with training in Procore.

In his project-management work, Jones supports teams through planning and execution, with responsibilities spanning project-team oversight; budget, schedule, safety, and quality; site logistics and preconstruction planning; owner communication; subcontractor and virtual coordination; project closeout; and financial forecasting and cost reporting. His experience includes roof, electrical, mechanical, motor-control, office, industrial, residential, and multifamily projects. He has contributed to projects valued from $532,000 to as much as $120 million, including the $5.9 million PRL Roof Project, the $2 million Emergency Power Separation, the $71 million Runway Logistics Center, and the $118 million Governors Hill Apartments. Some of the large-scale projects listed in his experience were completed while he was with another firm.

Beyond the jobsite, Jones serves as a board member for Angel 14 Ministry & Foundation, contributes to Triversity's Community Impact Week committee, and coaches AAU basketball. These roles reflect his commitment to mentorship, service, and community development.

As the 2026 STEMmys Rising Star of the Year, Dante Jones II is recognized as an emerging leader whose engineering preparation, project-management discipline, and dedication to service are helping build stronger projects, teams, and communities.
